About Orion

Our Mission

Orion exists to serve the scientific research community with access to high-purity peptides for in-vitro study. We believe that rigorous, reproducible science starts with the quality of the materials used. Our goal is to eliminate the uncertainty that comes from inconsistent reagent sourcing — providing researchers with compounds they can trust, backed by full analytical documentation for every batch.

We supply exclusively to researchers, institutions, and laboratories conducting in-vitro work. All products are offered for research purposes only and are not intended for human or veterinary use.

Quality Process

Every peptide produced by Orion is synthesized using solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) and Fmoc chemistry — the industry gold standard for producing research-grade peptides with well-defined sequences and minimal side-chain protection artifacts.

Following synthesis, all compounds undergo reverse-phase HPLC purification to remove truncated sequences, deletion products, and residual synthesis reagents. This multi-step purification process ensures that each vial meets our minimum threshold of 98% purity before it is released for shipment.

Lyophilization (freeze-drying) is performed under controlled conditions to maximize long-term stability. Each vial is sealed under inert atmosphere to protect peptide integrity during storage and transit.

Testing Methodology

Orion employs dual-method analytical verification. Mass spectrometry (MS) is used to confirm the molecular weight and identity of each compound, verifying that the correct sequence has been assembled. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) provides a precise quantitative purity profile, generating a chromatogram that documents the relative abundance of the target compound versus any detectable impurities.

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is generated for every production batch and ships with every order. The COA includes the HPLC chromatogram, mass spec data, purity percentage, batch number, and compound specifications — giving researchers a complete chain of analytical evidence.

Sourcing Transparency

Raw materials used in Orion’s synthesis workflows are sourced from established suppliers and held to pharmaceutical-grade specifications. All amino acid building blocks, coupling reagents, and solvents undergo identity and purity verification before use in production batches.

Synthesis and handling occur in controlled environments designed to minimize contamination and ensure batch-to-batch consistency. Each production run carries a unique batch tracking number, enabling full traceability from raw material receipt through final dispatch — so researchers always know the provenance of the compound in their hands.

Research Use Only

All products sold by Orion are strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not approved for human or animal administration, therapeutic use, or any application outside of controlled research settings. By purchasing from Orion, buyers confirm that they are qualified researchers who will use these compounds solely for legitimate scientific research in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
